Advertising and sponsorship

A single card in Epoka's feed, shaped exactly like a news card. No ad network, no tracking pixel, no pop-ups, no autoplaying video.

The numbers

The site is 47 days old and its traffic is small. Rather than dress that up, we print it as measured — what matters to an advertiser is not a big number but one they can verify.

The figures are read live from the site's own measurement; nothing is typed in by hand. Measurement runs in the browser, so automated requests that do not execute JavaScript never enter the record at all. Bots, internal navigation and development traffic are filtered out on top of that. For a visit to count at all, the reader must have stayed at least 10 seconds or scrolled at least a quarter of the page: requests opened and abandoned immediately are not counted as visitors. This condition lowers the figure noticeably, and that direction is deliberate. No cookies are used, so the visitor mark is renewed daily: “reader-days” counts the same person again each day and is not a headcount. The figure that means people is the typical day above. Visits from outside are shown separately because part of the direct traffic arrives through in-app browsers that strip the referrer, leaving its origin unconfirmed. Measurement started on 2026-08-14.

How we show advertising

There is exactly one format, and the card below is it. The site has no other ad slot, no side rail and no interstitial.

The card above was rendered with the real component — this is exactly how it appears on the site. The headline, description, cover pattern colour and destination are yours.
In the feed, the same size as a news card
The card sits in the homepage feed at the same dimensions as a story. Its border is dashed: it belongs to the feed, but you can tell it is not a news item before reading a word.
Always carrying the “Sponsored” label
Where the category badge would be, it says Sponsored; where the date would be, the advertiser's name. The destination domain is shown on the card too, so a reader knows where the link goes before clicking.
No third-party code runs
The card is the site's own component. No external script, iframe or tracking pixel is loaded, and none of the advertiser's code reaches the reader's browser. That is also why ad blockers do not hide it.
The link carries sponsored and nofollow
We tell search engines this is a paid link that carries no ranking vote. That keeps us within the rules and protects the site's own search standing.
Impressions and clicks are counted
Clicks pass through our own redirect endpoint and are counted. We share the figures whenever you ask. We collect no data from you, and none from the reader.

Packages

All three give the same placement; what differs is duration and scope. There is no fixed rate card: the price is calculated from a traffic-linked formula, set out just below.

How the price is calculated

price = median daily unique visitors × number of days × per-reader-day rate × period discount

The basis is the median daily unique visitor count over the last 14 days. The median rather than the mean, because a few high days keep a mean elevated for months; 14 days rather than 30, because a monthly package buys the period ahead, not a past spike. Current value: 2 unique visitors. The result is rounded to the nearest five lira, and the per-reader-day rate is capped at ₺5. The period discount makes longer packages cheaper: 1 day ×1.00 · 1 week ×0.85 · 1 month ×0.70.

The per-reader-day rate is not fixed; it rises with traffic. At 100 daily unique visitors it is $0.031, and it reaches 1.58× that when traffic grows tenfold. The same holds in the market: scale alone does not push a thousand-impression rate down — becoming generic does. Appearing in a publication that stays specialised is worth more. Current rate: $0.031.

We do not publish prices until traffic reaches 100 unique visitors a day. At today's figure the monthly package comes out too small to be worth invoicing on either side. If you are interested at this stage, write anyway and let's talk.

Dollar figures are indicative, converted at the Turkish Central Bank rate of 1 $ = 48.99 ₺ from 28 September 2026. Invoicing is in Turkish lira at the rate on the invoice date.

The price grows with traffic, and here is how. If you book a package today you book it at today's figure; the price does not change before your period ends.

What we don't accept

  • A sponsored card always carries the “Sponsored” label; it is never shown as news.
  • Editorial content is not for sale: sponsorship does not affect which stories get written, how they are written, or what verification label they receive.
  • No gambling, crypto speculation, products making health claims, or AI-generated content presented as human.
  • We reserve the right to decline a card; in that case the payment is refunded.
